Operation

1) Before start : check whether air volume is sufficient
2) Loading : - check whether air volume is sufficient.
- Check whether the scale shows between 0.2kgf and 0.7kgf.
- Overload (overload may cause serious problems on our product, which is not liable for the company)
3) Unload : - drive with tri-axle uplifted.
- Driving with tri-axle lowered may cause loss of driving force.
4) Parking on slope : lower the tri-axle (preventing slipping)
5) Driving on rainy road or snowy road
- Drive with tri-axle uplifted if possible.
- The rear part of a vehicle may turn left or right as the tri-axle is first put on the brake when a truck sets suddenly break.
6) Driving on unpaved road : lower the tri-axle and adjust air volume as less as possible(1.5kgf on gauge) before driving.
7) Applying axle and kit grease
- Applying grease every 3-month.
- Replace a rubber bushing if the clearance is widened.
- It may cause damaged parts or shortened life unless grease is replenished or replaced properly.
8) Effective driving tips
- Driving on load with the gauge set between 0.1 and 0.3 kgf may reduce tire wear and increase braking power.
9) Gauge scale and weight
Air pressure(BAR) Weight(loadage)
A special vehicle should consider the vehicle’s weight together
Load state
1.5 ~ 2.0±0.5 8 ~ 12 tons ※ means an approximate value
※ It may be different depending on the location of load.
2.5 ~ 3.0±0.5 13 ~ 15 tons
3.5 ~ 4.5±0.5 16 ~ 20 tons
5.0 ~ 6.5±0.5 21 tons and more
※ Precautions ※
- It must be checked in a month as it differs depending on vehicle types.
- Durability may suffer from faults if driving it after setting the tri-axle on over-pressure(5kg and more).
- When turning suddenly or loading/unloading, please drive with the tri-axle uplifted as possible.
10) U bolt and other bolts are factory-set as the preferable torques when released.
Make sure to regularly re-tightened them as follows.
① 5 days after release or after repairs.      ② 30 days after release or repaires.
③ 60 days after release or after repairs.    ④ every 6-month.
11) Regular maintenance tips
Checklist Replacement intervals Remarks
Checking/replacing airbag(frequently) ◇ RIDE BAG
◇ LIFT BAG
- the interval may be shortened in case of excessive driving (distance)
Checking Axle
(2,000km/month)
◇ Checking hub bearing - thoroughly check bearing state
- Applying grease into every point
- Adjusting lining
- Checking wheel nut tightening torque
- Checking U bolt tightening torque
Checking tires
(2,000km/month)
◇ Tire balance - checking tire wear and balance
Kit structure
(2,000km/month)
◇ checking any crack or bolt tightening - no crack should exist
- Check bushing wear
- Check every coupling torques
- Check spring damper diminution reduction(large vehicle)
- Check air leak of air-pressure parts
12) Troubles and troubleshooting
Troubles Cause Measure
Pusher axle
Up, Down
Malfunction
◇ Impurities are inserted into valves,
causing malfunction
◇ when wire disconnected
Commonness
① Regularly moisture emitting in air tank(drain cock)
② Replace an air drier filter

Down(lowering) defect
① Turn it on and check air on main gauge is enough
② Leave the switch with tri-axle lowered(ON state)
③ Check a fuse in the fuse box(checking a relay in the fuse box)

Up(raising) defect
① Check air on main gauge is enough
(axle does not move up in case of insufficient air volume)
Destructed airbag ◇ Worn airbag
(connection between rubber and plate)
◇ Side scratch of airbag
- replace the airbag
One-sided
(uneven) wear
◇ Brake lining’s one-sided(uneven) wear - replace the lining
- Adjust left/right lining intervals
